In the summer of 2009, President Obama and his family traveled to Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone National Park has been a popular destination for many U.S. Presidents over the years.

    Chiricahua National Monument Becomes America’s Newest National Park

The redesignation recognizes the national significance of the area's extraordinary natural and cultural resources and marks a new chapter for one of Arizona's most distinctive landscapes.

    National Park Service Expands Visitor Access at Denali National Park and Preserve

    The Department of the Interior and the National Park Service today announced a final rule updating vehicle use regulations on the Denali National Park Road to expand visitor access and bring the regulations in line with the park’s longstanding management plan. The action supports President Trump’s Executive Order 14314, “Making America Beautiful Again by Improving Our National Parks,” which calls for expanding opportunities for Americans to enjoy the nation’s public lands.
