Memo (2025): Opportunity for Deferred Resignation Program Participants to Support Wildland Fire Response

In support of the Secretary’s memo, Strengthening and Preparing Interior’s Wildland Firefighting Force for the 2025 Fire Year, clear expectations about Interior's approach to wildland fire preparedness and response efforts have been established. It directs all Bureaus and Offices with wildland fire management program responsibilities to support the commitment of such incident mobilization and response.
