Volunteer

Every summer, the U.S. Department of the Interior invites Americans to volunteer on our public lands.

Building on Interior's long legacy of service, volunteers lend their time and talents to communities across the country, including:

Restoring trails, habitats and historic sites
Educating visitors about wildlife, history and culture
Protecting natural and cultural resources
Supporting health, safety and security at public sites

From national parks to wildlife refuges, recreation areas to cultural sites, there's a place for every skill and interest.
