Eastern Interior Subsistence Regional Advisory Council to meet in Fairbanks at the Wedgewood Resort

The Eastern Interior Subsistence Regional Advisory Council fall meeting, postponed in October, has been rescheduled for December 16-18, 2025, at the Wedgewood Resort in Fairbanks. The meeting will begin at 09:00 a.m. (AKST) daily. On December 17, the Eastern Interior and Western Interior Regional Advisory Councils will meet together.

The Council will focus on time-sensitive action items such as developing recommendations on federal wildlife proposals and closure reviews, providing comments on the Secretary review of the Federal Subsistence Management Program, and developing their fiscal year 2025 Annual Report. Less critical agenda items originally scheduled for the fall 2025 meeting may be moved to the winter 2026 agenda.
