5 CFR 339 Medical Qualification Determinations—provides the legal basis for federal agencies to establish medical standards and physical requirements and require examinations
Privacy Act of 1974 5 U.S.C. § 552a, as amended—governs the collection, use, and dissemination of personal information
29 CFR 1630.14—details the medical examinations and inquiries permitted
Rehabilitation Act (29 CFR 1614.203)
Americans with Disabilities Act (42 USC 12101)
