Interior Deputy Secretary David Hayes to Hold Utah Listening Session in Oil and Gas Lease Review

ON TUESDAY, MAY 26, 2009, Deputy Secretary of the Interior David J. Hayes, Bureau of Land Management Acting Director Mike Pool, and National Park Service Acting Director Dan Wenk will hold a listening session in Vernal, Utah, to gather community input for a review of 77 parcels that the Department of the Interior withdrew from the December 19, 2008 oil and gas lease sale on lands covered by the Bureau of Land Management's Vernal, Moab and Price Resource Management Plans.
