Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland traveled to Taholah, Wash., today, where she discussed the Biden-Harris administration’s historic investments in Tribal communities.

In support of the Biden-Harris administration’s goal to address climate change and promote renewable energy production, the Department of the Interior announced today it is advancing three solar projects on 5,300 acres of public lands in Riverside County, Calif.

As part of the Biden-Harris administration’s commitment to creating nearly 80,000 jobs through developing 30 gigawatts (GW) of offshore wind energy by 2030, the Department of the Interior today announced that the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) will conduct an environmental review of a proposed wind energy project offshore North Carolina.
