Exploring Six Years of GAOA LRF Projects

Explore the 402 projects currently funded by the Great American Outdoors Act National Parks and Public Land Legacy Restoration Fund (GAOA LRF) using the tools below and see how GAOA LRF is making an impact across the country. These projects and associated activities are located in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and multiple U.S. territories, and will address priority deferred maintenance and repair needs at national parks, national wildlife refuges, and on other public lands, and Bureau of Indian Education (BIE)-funded schools.

Although FY2025 was the last year the LRF received an annual deposit from energy development revenues, the Department of the Interior allocated $376.8 million to Interior Bureaus in FY2026 from a combination of temporarily sequestered FY2025 funding (i.e., "pop-up" funds) and interest earned on U.S. Department of the Treasury securities.

Note: As a part of the FY26 recast process, certain projects have been canceled and removed from the GAOA LRF project list. PDSs for these projects can be found in the PDS packages above along with their justification for cancellation.
