Subsistence Student Art Contest 

The submission period for the 2026 Federal Subsistence Management Program Student Art Contest is now closed.

Federal Subsistence Board members will judge submitted art at their April 21-24, 2026 regulatory meeting, and the winner will be announced shortly afterwards. 

The winner’s artwork will be published on the cover of the 2026-2028 Subsistence Management Regulations for the Harvest of Wildlife on Federal Public Lands in Alaska book, which will be distributed statewide.  Additional art submissions may be used inside this regulations book, or in brochures and other publications produced by the Office of Subsistence Management.
