IBC provides program expertise and oversight for process automation functions, including evaluating and documenting business processes and providing improvements through process automation tools. Our service model includes both implementation of automated solutions and O&M services to maintain process automation technologies. Our services include coding and programming with the use of Process automation tools, which include Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and Intelligent Optical Character Recognition (IOCR). Combined, these two automation technologies allow for automation of more complicated processes that RPA alone cannot handle.

Robotics Process Automation (RPA)

RPA is a software tool that can learn, mimic, and then execute rules-based business processes. RPA creates and deploys software robots, or “bots,” that record actions a human takes to complete a computer-based task, and then replicate those actions at the same security settings much like a human user. RPA can be used for multi-application, rules-based processes, such as invoice processing. Bots can complete basic office-type functions faster than humans, reducing the overall processing time.

Intelligent Optical Character Recognition (IOCR)

IOCR is self-learning software designed to automatically read typed and handwritten documents in a variety of formats and templates to create and deliver a single upload file. IOCR is more than just standard OCR that involves converting images/scanned files into digital format. IOCR includes steps such as automatically sorting different documents, identifying data/areas documents that need to be digitized, data validation mechanisms, and exception handling interface. IOCR automatically reads, extracts and delivers data.
