Wednesday, March 11, 2026, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm  ET

The Women and Social Movements in the United States collection of products constitute a resource for scholars of American women's history. These primary source documents include digitized copies of rare and previously inaccessible materials. They are enhanced by scholarly essays from leading historians that illuminate key historical issues in those texts and provide entry points for accessing the collection. The database is comprised of over 170,000 pages from full-text sources, written by more than 2,700 authors. It includes items such as book, film, and website reviews; notes from the archives and teaching tools. Featured in this collection are a large number of materials chronicling the advances of the women’s suffrage movement in the 19th and early 20th centuries.  This training session, taught via webinar by ProQuest trainers, will look at the materials found in the collection, review searching tips and hints, and point out additional support materials.
